In East Wind, a captivating film-essay in the form of a letter, the filmmaker embarks on a personal journey, tracing her late father figure and their Palestinian heritage. From Patagonia, across the Río de la Plata, to Palestine, wind, snow, and a few inherited objects bring news from the East, carrying stories of belonging. Through footage of the Israeli-occupied West Bank and the Jordan River, the director unravels the threads of the past, blending personal and global history. Her journey becomes a shared experience of loss, filling the void left by her father's absence.
